Two Zion teachers took a "leap
of faith" over the summer as missionaries in foreign countries.

Miss Nicole Sebastian, 5th grade teacher, went to Kenya, Africa, for the month of June. She went with six other people, two nurses from Hawaii and four Florida college age students. They were welcomed with open arms at the Agape Orphanage which is in the city of Kisumu, a fairly large city in Kenya. They stayed at this orphanage that housed only 100 homeless boys from the city who wanted an education. Miss Sebastian had the opportunity to get to know these boys as she tutored them both in learning studies and on the Bible. Not only did she work with the orphanage boys, but twice a week her group visited the streets where over 800 homeless boys live. Continue...
