Zion Lutheran Church and School is a community of faith, rooted in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Mission is to nurture each person in mind, body, and spirit, through Worship, Education, and Service.
Our Vision is to celebrate worship as the heart of our Christian life -- the wellspring of our journey of faith. We believe that worship is the place where we experience and receive God’s love in Word and Sacrament, and are transformed by this encounter. Our worship is a spirited-liturgical experience, rooted in the ancient forms of the early church yet alive with the spirit. The format is ancient and rooted in history, but the language, words, and music we use are as contemporary as today.
We are also committed to providing our students with a developmentally appropriate and challenging academic program in our Christian School, while at the same time nurturing and encouraging our students to excel and achieve to their fullest intellectual and personal best. Our discipline emphasizes making good choices and demonstrating the Jesus qualities accentuated throughout each day. Our faculty and staff consists of professionals dedicated to the task of meeting the needs of our students, both spirituality and intellectually.
These, in turn, lead to compassionate service; to each other, our neighbors, and our community. Zion believes in making a difference in Deerfield Beach and Southeast Florida through our many service programs we offer in our church and school.
